For over 14 years, Barbara Spaulding, RN, Master Sound Healer and Clinical Sound Therapist, has incorporated Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy into her private practice in Florida, creating a unique experience that combines the deep vibrations of a therapeutic sound bed with live sound healing instruments.
Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy uses low-frequency sound vibrations delivered through specialized speakers built into a therapeutic bed. These vibrations can be felt throughout the body while carefully selected music and sound create an immersive sensory experience designed to encourage deep relaxation and well-being.
Although Barbara is not currently offering private vibroacoustic bed sessions in New York, she continues to share her knowledge of this fascinating technology. Barbara Spaulding, RN, BSN, is a Certified Master Sound Healer, Clinical Sound Therapist, Certified Hypnotist, and Sound Healing Therapy Practitioner Certification Trainer. With over 40 years of nursing experience and more than 14 years of professional sound healing practice, she brings a unique combination of science, sound therapy, and artistic creativity to her work.
A former ballerina, choreographer, and ballet company director, Barbara draws upon her artistic background to create extraordinary, immersive sound journeys. Using over 80 sound healing instruments from around the world, she carefully blends sound, vibration, music, and guided imagery into her original Magic Carpet Ride World Sound & Vision Journey.
After operating a private sound healing practice in Florida for 14 years, Barbara has returned to New York's Capital Region, where she now offers group sound healing experiences, workshops, and professional practitioner certification training at various venues.
